Chaos Group’s PhoenixFD moves into liquid simulation

Actually out a few days ago, but buried by the publicity surrounding the company’s other major release, V-Ray 2.0: Chaos Group has released an update to its new PhoenixFD fluid-simulation system, adding liquid simulations to the existing gaseous fluids.

According to Max Underground, other new features in the release include a turbulence helper, forward transfer advection, an analytic scattering mode, RGB preview of the UVW channel, limits for the adaptive grid, volumetric displacement and V-Ray 2.0 compatibility.
