Get ActionVFX and FILMPAC’s free Inferno Collection
Stock practical effects site ActionVFX has released nine free clips of fire, smoke, sparks and burning debris, available as 2K .mov files, licensed for use in commercial projects.
The files are part of The Inferno Collection, a set of free assets for use in ActionVFX’s Inferno Challenge art content, organised jointly with stock video and music library FILMPAC.

ActionVFX and FILMPAC have provided entrants to the Inferno Challenge with a pack of free downloadable stock assets, including ActionVFX’s effects clips and sound effects, and FILMPAC’s video and audio.
To enter the contest, users have to combine the assets to create a single effects sequence, with a change of winning annual subscriptions to both online libraries. You can find the full entry requirements here.
ActionVFX’s part of the asset pack includes nine pre-keyed effects clips of fires, smoke, sparks and burning debris, provided at 2K resolution in MOV format, plus 33 fire sound effects in WAV format.
The pack also includes three FILMPAC video clips and four audio effects. The closing date for contest entries is 9 May 2022 at 11:59pm EST, so you have until then to download the files.
